Here is everything you need to know about your Nextbite payments
Use the calendar below to determine the day your Nextbite payment will be initiated. Once payment is initiated, the deposit will typically take 1-3 business days to be applied to your account.
Statement Periods
As of November 30, 2022, there are two statement periods per month: 1st – 15th and 16th – end of the month. Payments are made five (5) business days after the statement period ends, unless impacted by a holiday. Please be sure to review the calendar.
1st payment of the month (around the 5th of the month):The first payment date of the month captures all sales for the prior month, 1st through the end of the month.
2nd payment of the month (around the 22nd of the month): The second payment of the month includes sales for the 1st to 15th of the month. If there are missing orders, please wait until you receive the full month statement.
Please note: Nextbite queries sales from the 1st of the month through the end of the month in the statement period beginning on the 16th to capture any missing orders from the 1st half of the month.

- When are fulfillment partner fees paid out?
- Payments generally occur five business days following the end of a statement period. As of November 30, 2022, there are two statement periods: 1st – 15th and 16th – end of the month. Please view the most recent payout calendar.
- Total sales on my POS do not match gross sales on the payout statement. How can I get assistance?
- Tablet and POS sales cannot be used for comparison to total payout. The total sales reflected on the Summary page of the dashboard include sales tax, which is not used in the calculation of payout. Navigate to the Detailed view from the top of the window and review the Subtotal dollar amount.
- Nextbite is not the Merchant of Record; the Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) are the Merchants of Record. We will do our best to capture as much data as we can, but we do not have any control over their reporting and the timing of said reporting. We hope to capture all mid-month differences in the final reporting at the end of the month, but variances are inevitable. However, we do not expect them to be more than 1% – 3% of gross sales for the period. Contact your account manager, if there is a material variance. They will open a case for you.
- How much is my fulfillment fee percentage?
- Please review your Fulfillment Partner agreement. Your account manager can assist with retrieving the executed contract.
- When is sales data queried for payouts?
- The second business day following the end of a statement period
- What order statuses are included in gross sales?
- As of May 1, 2023, unpaid canceled orders are no longer included in gross sales. Fulfillment Partners will no longer be paid a fulfillment fee on orders where Nextbite has not received payment from the DSPs.
- As of November 30, 2022, fulfilled, unfulfilled, and canceled orders are included in gross sales. Adjustments are not netted against sales currently. In the event this changes, you will be notified using official company communication.
- Should I report and remit sales tax?
- No. Fulfillment Partners are not responsible for collecting or remitting sales tax.
- DSPs are responsible for collecting sales tax and remitting sales tax in marketplace facilitator states.
- In states where there are no marketplace facilitator laws, DSPs will collect the sales tax and remit to Nextbite Brands, LLC for remittance to state agencies.
- Based on the information provided in the signed W-9 forms, we will only be issuing 1099 forms to those fulfillment partners who have reported their tax status as individual, single-member LLC, or partnership. If your W-9 indicates a different tax classification, please be aware that a 1099 form will not be issued to you.
- No. Fulfillment Partners are not responsible for collecting or remitting sales tax.
- I am not receiving my statements. How do I get my email address added and retrieve missing statements?

- How do I sign up for Plaid?
- Effective July 9, 2023, Nextbite no longer uses Plaid. Email fpsupport@nextbitebysbe.com for additional details on how to update your banking.
- When do I get my 1099’s?
- For 2023, please note that all 1099 forms will be sent out by both email and regular mail on or before January 31, 2024. Your 1099 will be emailed to the email address used for bi-monthly statements.
- It is important to ensure that the contact information we have on file is accurate to guarantee the timely receipt of your 1099 form. It is also crucial for accurate tax reporting that the information on your W-9 aligns with your actual tax status. If you have changed tax classification or ownership in 2023, please send a W-9 to us as soon as possible so that we can assist you in updating your records. - If you were a partner prior to June, 2023, you will receive two 1099’s. One from Nextbite/Ordermark and one from Nextbite by SBE.
- In 2022, Nextbite Brands LLC primarily used Stripe to make payments to its Fulfillment Partners. As a standard practice, Stripe issues a 1099-K annually in January for the prior year’s payments made via their processing platform. To understand more about a 1099-K and what you should do with it, please visit the IRS website for more information.
- Nextbite Brands LLC will only issue 1099-NECs to individuals, single-member LLCS, and partnerships with payments totaling of $600 or more in the previous calendar year. 1099s will be issued and mailed by January 31st of the following year.
